Content Page

To add the recommendation widget to the content page, we can use one of the following options:

  • app blocks with Online Store 2.0 themes
  • or edit the page HTML.

Note: App blocks can only be used with Online Store 2.0 themes. If your theme is not an Online Store 2.0 theme, please use other options to embed the widget..

  1. Go to Shopify Admin Panel -> Online Store -> Themes
  2. Under "Current Theme" section, click on "Customize" to edit the customize the current theme.
  3. In the Theme Editor, navigate to the content page you want to customize. For example, a blog page:
  4. On the content page of the theme editor, add a new block or new section using the left side panel:

    Then select the widget you want to add under "Apps":
  5. Preview the changes on the page.
  6. Click on "Save" button on the top right to save your changes.
  7. Now go to the content page of your website. Voilà, the recommendation widget shows up on the content page!

  1. Go to Shopify Admin Panel -> Online Store -> Pages
  2. Select an existing page to edit. If you want to create a new web page, then click on "Add Page" button.
  3. In the "Content" section to insert the recommendation widget HTML snippet to the page content.
    • First, click on the "Show HTML" icon to switch to the HTML source editor mode.
    • Second, copy the widget HTML snippet and paste it into the desired place in the HTML Source Editor. The recommendation widget will be rendered at the same that you put the widget HTML snippet on your website. In this example, we added the widget to the end of the page.
      Note: The recommendation widget will only render on your actual website. It is normal that you don't see the recommendation widget rendered on the edit page screen.
    • Click on save button to save the changes.
  4. Now go to the content page of your website. Voilà, the recommendation widget shows up on the content page!
